Welcome to the Francis L. Hatch Water Filtration Plant

The Kittery Water District's Water Filtration Plant is located at 28 New Boston Road in York, Maine. The telephone number for the plant is 363-4252.

The plant operates around the clock and is monitored by a SCADA system as well as numerous water quality test sites throughout the treatment process. A State of Maine Certified Water Treatment Operator is always available and on-call 24 hours a day.

The plant treats an average of 2,613,000 gallons per day that is pumped into the distribution system.
